Category Development Managers - Regional

As a result of its continuing success ViVAS is growing its team of Category Development Managers and are presently searching for 4 unique individuals to work closely with the 3663 team to drive sales of ViVAS wine to customers in the following geographical locations;

    • Manchester and North West 
    • Scotland

We will also consider strong applicants from other areas.

With principal responsibility for developing and delivering new business opportunities, these roles require results oriented, self starters with an entrepreneurial flair. People who know their way around the independent on trade in their region; and at the same time can manage and develop strong working relationships.

You will work closely with the 3663 sales team and be responsible for driving sales of our exclusive wine portfolio through existing customers, as well as hunting for new business.

About you;

The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following key skills;

  • Great wine knowledge and enthusiasm ;
  • Good food and wine matching skills and experience in creating wine lists;
  • The ability to nurture relationships at all levels;
  • Be confident hosting formal and informal tastings;
  • Logical, organised and self motivated approach, as well as an eye for detail;
  • Demonstrable understanding of costing calculations and budgets;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently yet within company procedures.
